Alaina Brown is the assistant Athletic Trainer with Athletes in Action and the full-time AT with the Prep Academy basketball team. Alaina completed her undergraduate education at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND where she competed on the volleyball team for 4 years. Within those 4 years, the team achieved 3 conference championships and 2 NAIA National Tournament appearances. She also completed an Athletic Training internship before graduating.
Shortly after completing her undergraduate degree, Alaina received her Master of Athletic Training degree at North Dakota State University (NDSU). While at NDSU, she was able to experience several athletic training environments from National Championships with Division I football to Orthopedic clinic hours. During her masters education, Alaina had the opportunity to intern with Athletes in Action’s summer XProject where she was able to rekindle and grow her faith and learn how to better incorporate faith into all aspects of her career.
Alaina has spent the last 2 years working in Terre Haute, IN with Union Medical Group at their outpatient Orthopedic office. There she was able to develop and progress her skills as an Athletic Trainer in patient assessment, home exercise planning, and casting/medical equipment applications.
Alaina lives in Fairborn, OH with her cat, Brenden aka Brenden “the batman” Brown. She enjoys playing volleyball, puzzles and board games, and movies.
