AIA Prep is a nonprofit program, under the umbrella of Athletes in Action (a Cru ministry). Any and all activities involving the academy are funded by individuals that are passionate about in investing into expanding the kingdom of God through pouring into tomorrow's leaders of faith, using the vehicle of sport. As missionaries employed with Athletes in Action, all staff members involved with AIA Prep have an individual support team that funds their ministry with the academy, which is to say: every dollar contributed towards this mission goes directly towards supporting the activities of the participants in the program. A snapshot of what contributions are used for is below:
- Housing costs
- Meal plan
- Transportation costs
- Curriculum and enrichment
- Equipment and uniforms
- Road game lodging
