Athletes in Action Prep Academy

Coach Green comes to AIA Prep after an extensive high school coaching career in North Carolina. Coach has had a wealth of high level experience, as well as success, in building programs from non-contenders into powerhouses. He was blessed to coach a number of All-State, All-Conference and Conference Player of the Years, as well as others that have gone on to play collegiately at all levels. Green believes in a high speed, highly disciplined brand of basketball that is both physically and mentally demanding for each player on the floor, and is extremely passionate about mentoring and guiding young people. Coach’s first experience with Athletes in Action came in 2018 when he had the privilege of serving on the coaching staff with a team that traveled on a three-week mission trip to New Zealand. 

Born in the mountains of Tennessee, Coach Green has now been married to his wife Paula for 33 years. Their family is John IV, Anna, and Anna’s husband Micah. One of Coach Green’s favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 27:17
