The 2nd inaugural AIA Prep Academy reached its conclusion last week. Altogether, the players lived on campus for 7 months, trained 6 days a week, participated in bible and leadership classes 2 times a week, and had meetings with designated mentors throughout the season. During the year, 6 of the players committed their lives to following Jesus! Overall it was a very successful season. Here are some of the teams accomplishments throughout the year:

• Finished with a record of 27-8
• Defeated Sunrise Christian Academy on their home court who was the #2 ranked post grad team in the country
• National runners-up at the Phenom Prep Tournament Gold Division
  • Beat powerhouse teams IMG and Bridgeport
• After competing, the team had opportunity to share the gospel with most of the teams they played against

While undersized, this team prevailed against opponents much bigger than them by discovering the power of togetherness, unity, and brotherhood. They were a real life David vs. Goliath representation all year long.
